Edic Mini Tiny Solar - Solar Powered Voice Recorder
The main distinctive feature of this Edic Mini vopice recorder is the solar rechargeable system, which can allow endless battery operation.
You can use the recorder in "black box" mode, while recharging the battery with the solar panel, this mode allows continuous loop recording without an external power supply.
If you place the recorder near a window, facing the solar panel to the sun, the recorder will continuously record of hours on end, this function is useful for lengthy covert surveillance purposes.
On a sunny day, the solar panel can provide a charging current of up to 12 mA, so if you expose the battery to sunlight for 10 hours, it's enough to fully charge the recorder’s battery.
In "black box" mode, it is recommended to use the VAS (Voice Activating System) and the loop recording modes, becuase then only 2 hours of sunlight a day is enough to recharge the recorder’s battery completely.
In VAS mode, the battery provides 7 days worth of power to the recorder without recharging.
The recorder can be connected to PC via USB port with the supplied cable ofr downloading the recorded files.
